Hotel exceeded my expectations
Convenient to the beach and convention center - bathroom was small
Handicap room was too small for a wheelchair or electric chair - the bed was fine - good stay
Great location - hotel wasn't luxurious, but it was clean and adequate - housekeeper was nice - loved the tiki bar - motorcycles had to use off-street parking - parking lot was two blocks away

The Dayton House is a family oriented oceanfront resort centrally located in Myrtle Beach SC. We have Myrtle Beachs largest oceanfront lawn over an acre filled with yellow umbrella covered personal picnic tables. Each table has four chairs and two lounges creating a wonderful beachfront setting for couples and families. Add to this another acre of oceanfront pools and decks including Myrtle Beachs first walk-in swimming pool an indoor pool an indoor-outdoor pool three indoor and outdoor hot tubs a kiddie pool and a lazy river tube ride and you will understand why guest have been returning to the Dayton House for over 45 years. With a wide selection of clean modern well appointed suites and efficiencies the Dayton House provides many options to fit your familys size needs and budget. Every room has a kitchen coffee maker iron and ironing board hair dryer and private balcony. The Dayton House caters to mature adults families and couples. Our quiet relaxed atmosphere does not appeal to the under 25 age groups.Children and single adults under 25 must be accompanied by parents at the resort. For the Relaxed Uncrowned Family Atmosphere it is the Dayton House Resort.
